We arrived home (Denver) yesterday, and I am still recovering from all the travel. Is that why people say they need a vacation from their vacation? I just need a minute to unpack, do laundry, and get back to normal life. I am thankful that I got the opportunity to be with my family, go to the beach, and see TØP in concert. It was easily the best concert I have ever been to. One day, I hope to see them from the pit. I really enjoyed the amazing music, band, and fans!

I wrote 12,596 words on my trip, so the travel didn’t hinder me too much. My characters have embarked on a different journey of their own. Again, this was something that was planned, but only in a general sense. I know what the ending of the book will be, so I am working towards that now. I continue to have thoughts about the end of the novel that are getting in the way of writing. I may need to write the end, and then come back to where I am now. I’m not quite ready for that, so we will see how long I can hold out.
