We drove south from my Sister’s house in Atlanta to spent a few days at my Dad’s home. On the way down, we stopped at Buckner’s Family Restaurant in Jackson, Georgia. It is probably one of my favorite places to eat, because their food is fresh and SO amazing. It is served “family style” on a lazy-susan. Generally, you are seated with other families, unless you have a large family of your own. Believe me, well worth exiting the highway.

Speaking of the highway, it was pretty treacherous on our way to Dad’s house. The rain poured and poured.

Today is my Dad’s birthday! We are planning to leave for the beach tomorrow and enjoy some relaxation!
